EntrepreneurshipThrough Acquisition

A student finance organization at Indiana University Bloomington.

Our Mission

We teach IU students how a business is bought, financed, run and sold, giving them the full view of a company that careers across finance are built on.

About Us

Every side of a deal, from one seat.

Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition, or ETA, is the path of buying an established small business and leading it as CEO.

We use ETA as a lens on all of finance. To buy a company you have to source it, value it, finance it, run it and plan the exit, so our members learn the work behind investment banking, private equity, M&A, restructuring and wealth management along the way.

Members learn through classes, hands-on Deal Labs and a real buy-or-pass case worked in small teams. ETA at IU was founded in 2026, and our first member cohort begins in spring 2027.

Our People

Our Team
